Andrew Michael Eveloff, 24, passed away peacefully and comfortably at his home on Dec. 31, 2016, from complications arising from his muscular dystrophy. He was surrounded by his family, loved ones and the people who he cared about most. Andrew was proudly attending Johnson County Community College, working toward his goal of ultimately becoming a journalist.

An unbelievably compassionate son, brother and friend, Andrew filled those around him with joy and inspiration. His compassion could only be matched by his strength, rising above every obstacle placed before him while comforting those around him to ensure they were as happy as he was.

Andrew’s loving and proud parents, Scott Eveloff and Ruth Eisen, and adoring siblings, Emily and Dan Eveloff, are left immeasurably better because of Andrew’s life and his unparalleled ability to uplift and inspire others.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at the Jewish Community Campus in the Multi Activity Center (MAC). Please enter through the Lewis and Shirley White Theatre entrance. You can honor Andrew by making donations to either the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), the Make a Wish Foundation, or KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc.
