Harrison Jedel, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 10, 2016.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Mary Cohen and Sylvan Jedel.

Harrison was in the United States Army before attending Oklahoma University. Upon graduation, Harrison joined his grandfather’s scrap metal business, I.J. Cohen Co., where he worked until his retirement. 

He always maintained a close relationship with his many cousins and their families near and far. From a very young age, Harrison had a passion for art and became an avid collector. Over his life, he befriended many emerging and well-known artists.

Harrison was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Jedel.
