Burton M. Eisen, 80, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away suddenly Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Menorah Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 31, at The Louis Memorial Chapel; followed by entombment in the mausoleum at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Burton was preceded in death by his parents: Hanan and Helen (Feinberg) Eisen; sister: Sandra Gene Eisen Bates. He is survived by his niece and her husband: Margo and Aaron Herwig; great-nephew: Jordan Herwig.
He attended Southwest High School, followed by The University of Missouri, Columbia. Burton proudly served his country in the United States Army, was an avid bowler, and a member of B’nai B’rith. He enjoyed good food, friends, music of all kinds and traveling. Never meeting a stranger, he was known by all as “Uncle Burt.” He’ll be dearly missed.
