Rita Elaine Bromberg, age 82, passed away peacefully on Nov. 5, 2015, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Bromberg; parents, Frieda and Morris Sorkin; sister, Sandy Asskanass. Rita is survived by three daughters, Jan Atlas, Mickey Appleman (Michael Appleman) and Lisa Mora (Bob Mora); five grandchildren, Alaina, Joshua, and Danielle Appleman; Jesse Atlas and Emily Mora.
Rita was a dedicated wife, a caring and giving mother, and a very proud baubie. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}She served as president of B’nai Emet Synagogue’s Women’s League, reflective of her strong Judaic principles and beliefs. Rita worked as a biller in the insurance industry for many years.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Nov. 8, at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
