Henry A. Aronson, 92, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015, at his home. Graveside services were held May 3 at Mount Carmel Cemetery followed by burial. The family suggests contributions to Heartland Hospice.

 

Henry was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Benjamin and Jeanette (Brofsky) Aronson. He moved to Kansas City with his family as a child where he attended Kansas City schools. He was a graduate of Central High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II. Upon his return he married his wife of 50 years Mabel. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}They began their family in 1947, raising three sons. Henry was a delivery man for the Taystee Bread Company for 24 years. He continued in food delivery focusing on the vending machine area of the business, until his retirement at age 62. He also was involved with his brother and brother-in-law in a rental property business.

Henry took pleasure in teaching his young family how to make it in the world. He was very handy and could fix just about anything. Henry was fun to be around. He was a hardworking man who loved his family, especially the grandkids.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Mabel; son: Barry Aronson; siblings: Leon Aronson, Ruth Kraft and Sara Reva Golad.

He is survived by sons: Doug Aronson and Dennis Aronson, both of Overland Park; grandchildren: Adam Aronson, and his significant other Traci Klein; Stacey Milsap and her husband Lance; Doug Aronson, Jr.; Debbie Carter and her husband Raymond; Dusty Aronson and Damon Aronson.
