Helen Lerner Levy, 90, passed away April 20, 2015, at Manor Care of Overland Park. Graveside services were scheduled to take place Wednesday, April 22, at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Helen Lerner Levy was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Paul and Blanche (Planzer) Lerner. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}She was a lifelong area resident and a lifelong member of Congregation Beth Shalom. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Levy; her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ellen and Denny Metcalf; brothers, Jack, Harry, Morris, Victor, Meyer Lerner and sisters, Louise Levitz and Sarah Klopper. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Rosie Lerner and many loving nieces and nephews.
