Ann Teiblum, 95½, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Jan. 20, 2015, at Village Shalom. Graveside services were held Jan. 23 at Mount Carmel Cemetery. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}The family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice.

 

Ann was born in Dzialoszyce, Poland, and came to the U.S. in 1952. She was a Holocaust survivor who lost nearly her entire family during the war.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Teiblum, in 1979, and her daughter, Rita Teiblum Bloomberg, in 2011.

Ann is survived by her son-in-law, Howard Bloomberg of Kansas City, Mo.; her sister Bella Markus and her nephew Harry Markus of Toronto, Canada. 

She worked at Rice Coat Factory for many years as a seamstress and was a lifelong member of Congregation Beth Shalom.
