Ronald Mack Bushman passed away Dec. 29, 2014, at 81 years of age in California. Ron was born April 6, 1933, and raised in St. Joseph, Mo., graduating Central High School in 1950. He attended the University of Illinois earning a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and the University of Missouri receiving a Juris Doctor in law. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}Ron began his business career at the Mechanics Bank in St. Joseph and relocated to California where he specialized in trusts and ESOP plans. In San Francisco he worked at Pacific National Bank, Union Bank and Redwood Bank establishing and managing trust accounts. Retiring from banking in 1979, Ron became a partner in the law firm of Ludwig & Bushman specializing in real estate and corporate law until 1983 at which time he pursued investments in real estate individually.

Ron was an avid golfer, tennis player and skier and a member of Harbor Point tennis club and Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He had homes in both Mill Valley and Rancho Mirage.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Bess Bushman, and a niece, Michelle Bushman. He is survived by his wife Sydney; step-daughter Tanya Norkus (Chris) and two grandchildren Anna and Dustin, all of Petaluma, Calif.; brothers Jordan Bushman (Betty) of Kansas City, Mo., and Robert Bushman (Helen) of Leawood, Kan.; nephews Jeff and Stephen of Greater Kansas City, and Craig Bushman of Boulder, Colo.; and cousins Joye Tatz of Rancho Mirage and Stanley Bushman of Kansas City, Mo.
