Judy Friedlander, 74, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, after a six-month battle with cancer.

Judy was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Aug. 14, 1940. She retired from teaching girls physical education in San Marcos, Calif., and moved to Las Vegas in 1990. She worked as a sports clerk for another 14 years before retiring from that.

Judy is survived by a son, David and his wife Laura; two grandsons; brother, Don Boresow, and sister, Anita Loeb, both of Overland Park.

A celebration of life was held Sunday, Sept. 7, at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas.
