Fran Meadow Zingher, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of Si Zingher, who preceded her in death in 1997.
Born in Kansas City, she was the daughter of William and Rose Meadow and the loving mother of her three children Gary, Rick (Paula) and Cindy. Fran was the proud grandmother of Josh (Rachel), Katie, Miguel and Ariana; the aunt of many nieces and nephews; and sister and best friend of Bev Lichterman.
She loved KU basketball, the Royals, playing cards and her job at Marshall’s, where she worked until shortly before her death. Fran will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of life service was held Sunday, Aug. 17, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to www.campkinderland.org.
