Donald H. Gladstone, 93, of Overland Park, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014.
Services were held Sunday, July 13, in the Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery chapel, followed by burial. The family suggests contributions to Pinellas Education Foundation, in support of a scholarship fund established in his granddaughter’s memory, c/o the Don Gladstone Family, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64131 or Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
Donald was born June 23, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Izzie and Clara (Dickenstein) Gladstone, and was a lifelong area resident.
He shared a great life with his late wife Betty Ruthe until her death in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Ruthe Gladstone; brothers, Sam, Alvin and Jerome Gladstone; sister, Esther Levy; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Logan, in 2007.
Donald is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lois Gladstone, Overland Park; and his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Richard Logan, Clearwater, Fla.
