Alan and Joan Jacobson of Overland Park, Kansas, announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Ellis Jacobson, to Maren Heather Schwartz, daughter of Deborah Schwartz of Denver, Colorado, and the late Harvey Schwartz.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Abe and Beauty Schwartz and the late Si and Millie Simon, all from Fairlawn, New Jersey. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}She attended the University of Kansas and the University of Colorado in Denver, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She is an art teacher in the Denver public schools.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Al and Florence Jacobson of Kansas City, Missouri, and the late Leon and Evelyn Schiller of Glencoe, Illinois. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He is the manager of business development for Inspiration Beverage Company in Lakewood, Colorado.
An Oct. 10 wedding at Agora at the Riverside in Boulder, Colorado, is planned.{/mprestriction}
