Barry S. Slotnick was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award from the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) at a ceremony on Nov. 15 The Silver Beaver is the highest award for volunteerism given by BSA.
Barry’s scouting career includes being a Scouter reserve, committee chair, assistant Scoutmaster, Bartle assistant, reservation director, Bartle Camp staff, Campmaster, Wood Badge Staff, BrownSea, Eagle Scout, Wood Badge Basic training staff, Medicine Man in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow.
