Edward and Cheryl Alexander of Lenexa announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Shira Alexander, to James Benjamin Kubisch, son of John and Cynthia Kubisch of Tucson, Ariz.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Gene and Mary Judy and the late Abraham and Evelyn Alexander. She attended the University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in a neonatal ICU in Alexandria, Va.
The future groom is the grandson of Constance and the late Jack Kubisch and Evelyn and the late Donald Bruegger. He attended Tufts University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and psychology. He was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. He is currently employed as a Human Resources manager for a government contractor in Herndon, Va.
A May 25 wedding at Studio Dan Meiners is planned.
