The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah will host a blood drive this Sunday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m to 1 p.m.

For every pint of blood collected, an anonymous donor will give $50 to Magen David Adom, Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross.

“We all feel so helpless right now,” said Stacy Wright, B’nai Jehudah member and blood drive chair. “We are sending prayers and sharing stories about the war in Israel. Here is something we can do right now. A double mitzvah. We can save lives here in Kansas City and in Israel at the same time.”
