The Goldenberg Duo, consisting of siblings Susan and William Goldenberg, will present a series of free recital performances from Sept. 28 to Oct. 11. 

Susan has been a violinist with the Kansas City Symphony for more than 40 years and performs in the Kinnor Philharmonic at The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. William is a pianist and serves as a distinguished teaching professor and head of keyboard studies at Northern Illinois University. The sibling duo have performed countless concerts for more than 43 years across the United States and the world, including shows in Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, China, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Japan and more.

The duo will perform works by Franz Schubert, Jeno Hubay, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Cecile Chaminade, Johannes Brahms, Oscar Haugland, Bela Kovacs and Japanese folk songs. They have eight free shows scheduled:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. at Tiffany Springs Retirement Center (9101 Ambassador Dr., Kansas City, MO 64151)
  • Friday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. at Bishop Spencer Place (4301 Madison St., Kansas City, MO 64111)
  • Monday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Gano Chapel at William Jewell College (500 College Hill, Liberty, MO 64068)
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 12 p.m. at Kansas City Public Library (14 W. 10th St., Kansas City, MO 64105)
