Jewish Family Services (JFS) is offering a new peer-led support group to help moms – The Baby Bubble.

The group is for new moms, breastfeeding and pumping moms, providing a supportive environment for connection.

Taking place the first Thursday of each month (10:30-11:30 a.m.), The Baby Bubble will be facilitated by Danielle Antes (RN, BSN, IBCLC) and Katie Davis (RN, BSN, IBCLC), co-owners of Nourished, a local lactation support and education agency. The first session will be held on Thursday, May 4, in the third floor JFS Meeting Room at the Jewish Community Center, 5801 W. 115th St.  Antes and Davis will share their expertise and support moms' feeding journey. A scale will be available to weigh babies and have weighted feeds.

This is a free support group through JFS’s Family Life Education-Mental Health Programs. More information is available by contacting Jodi Perelmuter, JFS family life educator, at or (913) 327-8259.
