Athletes from across the Midwest came to The J to compete in the 8th Annual Do More Charity Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 9 to raise money and awareness for their charities of choice.

Eleven teams of four athletes competed, and $215,000 was raised for charity. $126,000 was raised by corporate partner donations for the event, and $89,000 was raised by the individual teams through fundraising. Bank Midwest and Stinson were the event’s presenting sponsors.

The charities who received a varying amount of donated funds included Forging Youth Resilience, Steve’s Club Nashville, Hope House, Della Lamb, The Dream Factory of Kansas City, The Bow Foundation, Community Service’s League, Steve’s Club Denver, and Catch A Lift.

This was the second year for The J to host the event.
