Scott and Jackie Frager of Leawood, Kansas, announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth (Ellie) Frager to James Donald (JD) Oberholtz, son of Dawn and Darryl Oberholtz of Raytown, Missouri.
Ellie is the granddaughter of Robert and Barbara Frager of Prairie Village, Kansas; Robert Fisher and Peggy Knickerbocker of San Francisco, California; and Bonnie Fisher (z”l) of Los Angeles. She is currently an elementary teacher in the Blue Valley School District. She holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Kansas and a master’s from Kansas State University.
JD is the grandson of Gerald and Donna Brown of Shell Knob, Missouri; Don Oberholtz of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and Nancy Tassett (of blessed memory) of Blue Springs, Missouri. He is currently an accountant at T-Mobile in Overland Park, Kansas. He holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Kansas and a Master’s of Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
Ellie and JD met during their junior year at the University of Kansas and never looked back. They live together in Overland Park.
