Samantha Blake Jerwick, daughter of Jennifer and Brad Jerwick, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, April 13, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Samantha’s grandparents are Fran and Jeff Winstock and Mindi and Alan Jerwick, and she is a great-granddaughter of Annette Brown of Lincolnshire, Illinois; and Marjorie Jerwick. She has two siblings, Jack (16) and Ella (14).
As a seventh grade student at Lakewood Middle School, her passions include dance — she participates in competitive dance — as well as baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
For her mitzvah project, Samantha sold bracelets to raise money for Dancers Against Cancer.
