Micah Asher Kramer, son of Rabbi Stephanie and Adam Kramer, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Micah Kramer is a seventh grader at Prairie Star Middle School and enjoys coming to services to help at the tech table or play with the Simcha Band at Temple. Through his school orchestra, he has performed at numerous events for students and parents. Outside of school, Micah plays in the Youth Symphony of Kansas City. In prior years, Micah has performed with the Metropolitan Conservatory of Kansas City playing baroque and chamber music.
For his mitzvah project, Micah has been performing at retirement homes around town including Tall Grass, Village Shalom, and Brookdale senior homes. Along with a love of classical music, Micah enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and ping pong.
