Sadie Bea and Samuel Seth Cohen, children of Gina and Yoni Cohen, will become b’nai mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Sadie and Sam are grandchildren of Carol and Jeff Marks, and Stuart Cohen and Sharyn Cohen (z”l).
Sadie is a seventh grader at Leawood Middle School and enjoys competitive dance, softball, art and spending time with friends.
Sam is a seventh grader at The Barstow School and enjoys competitive baseball, basketball, robotics and hanging with friends.
For their mitzvah project, they have volunteered at the Special Olympics and Giving the Basics.
