Daniel Matthew O’Connor, son of Barbara and Ted O’Connor, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Dan is the grandson of David and Maurene Kupperman; and Maurice and Marie O’Connor, all of blessed memory.
A seventh grader at Oxford Middle School, Dan loves animals (including his current and past pets), as well as reading fantasy, playing viola, playing video games and building things. He received an award for most merit badges as a first year scout in Boy Scout Troop #61.
For his mitzvah project, Dan gathered fidget toys for Title I schools.
The bar mitzvah will be in person and streamed on Facebook Live. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Kiddush luncheon following the service.
