Gabriel Owen Sherry, son of Beth and Mike Sherry, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Gabriel is the grandson of Henry Katz and the late Helen Katz of Ada, Oklahoma, and Judy and Steve Sherry. He has a sister, Leah, and enjoys sports, playing basketball, video games and spending time with friends.
For his mitzvah project, Gabriel volunteers with Special Olympics.
