Benjamin (Ben) Rosenthal is the son of Janna and Daniel Rosenthal. He has an older sister, Emma. He is the grandson of Susan and Ernest Rosenthal of Overland Park, Kansas, Susan and Kenneth Cohn of Arlington, Virginia, and Theresa and William Schuster of Aiken, South Carolina.
Ben attends Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, golf, video games, traveling, and spending time with family.
Despite not having a pet of his own, he also has a real love for animals. One of his favorite things to do is spend time with neighbors and friends’ pets. Ben’s bar mitzvah project involved raising money for Wayside Waifs of Kansas City, a no kill animal shelter.
His bar mitzvah was on September 4 at Congregation Beth Shalom.
