Akiva and Yehudit Lebovitz of Jerusalem announce the birth of their son, Yair Chaim, on Jan. 14, 2020. They are also the parents of Yitzchak.
Maternal grandparents are Esther Goldstein and the late Rabbi Yitzchak Goldstein. Paternal grandparents are Dr. Yaron and Tzipporah Lebovitz of Beit Shemesh, Israel. Dr. Lebovitz is formerly of Kansas City and was a student at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy.
Great-grandparents are Dr. George and Aviva Lebovitz, formerly of Kansas City. Dr. Lebovitz was a teacher at HBHA. Great-great-grandparents are Kate Lebovitz of Village Shalom and the late Eugene Lebovitz. Yair has been named after his great-great-grandfather.
Kate Lebovitz, a Holocaust survivor, is thrilled to have 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
