Halasz birth

Celebrations

Rabbi Karen Bodney-Halasz and Scott Halasz of Dayton, Ohio, announce the birth Oct. 7 of their son, Jonah Elliott Halasz. Maternal grandparents are Martin and Lynn Pollman and Howard and Beatrice Bodney, all of Overland Park; paternal grandparents are Jerry and Maxine Halasz of Centerville, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Frieda Pollman of Overland Park and Evalyne Halasz of Richardson, Texas. Jonah’s middle name is in memory of his father’s aunt, Esther Mendelsohn.
