Gitterman, Rebecca A.

Rebecca A. Gitterman, 88, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 9, at Menorah Medical Center.

Graveside services were held Sunday, July 12, at Sheffield Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice.

Mrs. Gitterman was born in Kansas City, Kan., to Noah and Sarah Schachter in 1920.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Paul Gitterman, in 2006.

Mrs. Gitterman is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Esther Gitterman, Kansas City, Mo.; daughters and son-in-law, Susan Gitterman, Kansas City, Mo., Teri and Sheldon Kallevig, Kansas City, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
