Grundstein-Batalla engagement

Estelle and Abe Grundstein of Malibu, Calif., announce the engagement of their son, Aaron Grundstein, to Lilitte Batalla, daughter of Rolanda and Lilia Batalla of Los Angeles.

The future groom is the grandson of Sarah Zeldin and the late Hyman Zeldin, and Beatrice Grundstein and the late Sydney Grundstein. He attended the University of California at San Diego, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science, and a master’s degree in public health at the University of California in Los Angeles. He is a licensed bail bondsman.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Maria and Felix Bobis. She attended California State in Northridge and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts. She will receive her master’s degree in August in business administration. She is an accountant at Carlsbad Unified School District.

A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at the Marriott Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif.
