Mour, Mary Ann

Mary Ann Mour, 76, of Overland Park, passed away Thursday, June 11, at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14, at Congregation Beth Shalom, with burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.

Mrs. Mour worked as a medical technologist at Baptist Medical Center for 22 years before retiring in 1991.

She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom and its Sisterhood, and a life member of Hadassah and B’nai B’rith Women.
Mrs. Mour was a graduate of the Kansas City University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in science.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Richard Mour, in 1996; her brother, Hanan Wedlan; and a sister, Reva Kaufman.

Mrs. Mour is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Brendon James, Overland Park; sister, Eleanor Abrams, Overland Park; sisters-in-law, D.D. Wedlan, Mission Hills, and Fay Wilton and her husband, Barry, Henderson, Nev.; grandsons, Chad Mour and Zachary James; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
