Starr, Raymond Hillman

Raymond Hillman “Pete” Starr, 69, of Baltimore, died Tuesday, June 16.

Services were to be held today, June 19, at Sol Levinson & Bros. in Baltimore, with interment at Har Sinai Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the UMBC Foundation in the name of Photography Collections, and addressed to the Administrative Offices, UMBC Library, 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250, Attn: Tom Beck.

Mr. Starr was born in Kansas City, Mo., on May 5, 1940.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Star. He is survived by his wife, Janice Cohen Starr; sons, Matthew Starr of Silver Spring, Md., and David Starr of Wayland, Mass.; brother, Norton Starr of Amherst, Mass.; grandchildren, Emily and Elliot Starr; and nephews, John Starr of Kansas City, Mo., and Andrew Starr of Mission.
